Jellie Joolz™ Retailer Profile:
Yo Mamma's Home

Jellie Joolz retailer Yo Mamma's Home, a wonderfully eclectic emporium all the way over, and up, in Belfast, Maine, just launched an inviting new web site with a video tour of their store featuring the fabulous Jellie Joolz™! How cool is this? (Note: the site is the handi-cyber-work of Al Arthur, a Maine-based web-designer).

Everything about Yo Mamma's, from the kitschy logo, to the over-flowing storefront filled with a "tongue-in-chic" cornucopia of unique jewlery, home furnishings and vintage finds, to store owner Mallery's folksy video tour, makes me want to plan a weekend in Belfast, Maine so I can go grazing at Yo Mamma's.

Yo Mamma's is also fortunate to have Lisa Agostini on board. Lisa has a lot to do with Yo Mamma's unique product line-up and creatively quirky displays. A look at Lisa's blog (I'm a regular) will give you a peek inside her subversive mind and an appreciation for her talent for scouting "indie" art and design. What a rockin' group of mammas at Yo Mamma's Home.

New! The Chinoise Jellie Joolz™

I've been collecting antique Blue Willow china for years (some of my pieces are pictured above), so when Roberto Cavalli came up with what I call his "blue china"-inspired collection about two years ago, I thought, well the dress is pricey (pictured), so I'll do a "blue china" Joolz. We (my "Jooler" affectation) love Roberto. He is quite brilliant and (we) would dress head to toe in his clothes if possible.

The "blue china" theme has come around again, showing up on these platform sandals from Anthropologie.

Hamsa Design for the SisterZ

I worked up a special, limited edition Hamsa bracelet for the new Sisterhood group at Temple Israel of Hollywood. They call themselves Sisterz in the Hood and they have a cool logo with - what else - a hamsa. I incorporated their logo into one of the Jellie Joolz cameos. It's going to be a fundraising item - a percentage of every sale will be donated to their scholarship fund.

Birthday Wish List

Somehow this dress and this chandelier go together. Do you see it? The dress is from Trina Turk and the abalone chandelier is from Anthropologie.
